chan_ss7 released
As Sifira’s interest in chan_ss7 is ceasing, a new maintainer is needed to take responsibility of providing the community with ongoing support and maintenance. Dicea has decided to maintain and periodically release new versions of chan_ss7.
The first release is 1.0.0. This is a bug fix and clean up release, but also has major new functionality. The MTP layer is separated out in a standalone executable, allowing the same signalling connections to be shared for multiple services. This is used for configuring a redundant setup, but also for new protocol layers, e.g. TCAP.
