Efficiency to Asterisk based call center applications

Our Asterisk/HLR lookup feature enables call center applications based on Asterisk to see if a mobile phone is available and where it is located. This enables call centers to plan an execute outbound campaigns more efficiently.

This will enable the call agents to avoid calling mobile phones that are absent and abroad. This will save time for the call agents and prevent the called party to pay for an inbound call when he is abroad.

The HLR lookup works via connection in the SS7 mobile network. On request the feature looks at the status and location of the mobile phone in the Home Location Register (HLR) and sends this information back to Asterisk. Via call center applications the information can be presented to a call agent.
