Voice broadcasting enables execution of automated dialing campaigns. However the automated outbound calls are not made until the mobile phone is turned on. If the mobile phone is outside coverage the call will not be made until it is within coverage again.
This enables cost efficient execution of the voice broadcasting campaigns and the ability to reach new target groups in an efficient way.
For mobile operators this can be a way of reaching customers that keep their phone switched off most of the time. The voice message instead of a text based message enables communication with new target groups as well. This can lead to increased usage of the mobile phone and increased revenue.
The system has a web interface for planning and execution of the voice broadcasting campaigns. To enable the voice broadcasting functionality the system should be integrated with a IVR system, e.g. Asterisk.
